Two deliberate setups
The picture printable contains paired illustrations plus one odd Sun. Ordinary cards use ranks and the standard queen-removal setup. Mixing the cards would obscure what counts as a pair and why a single card remains.
If a sheet is missing a card
Print a replacement, then recheck the completed deck by label. Each regular picture needs two copies and Sun needs one. Do not add an entire replacement sheet without checking for duplicates.
If you want a smaller activity
Use two or three complete picture pairs for a visible matching exercise. Call it a pairing activity, and explain whether Sun has been removed. A change in deck size is an activity choice rather than a new official rule attributed to a publisher.
